Hello, thanks for visiting!

I am a Student and a Teacher of Yoga, Meditation, and Mysticism. 

I teach yoga both on and off of the mat.  I am currently teaching a series on Yogic Mysticism where we seek to make classic yogic texts relevant to modern life and the modern world. 

Watch this space, I will be doing some bloging on topics from my classes and our discussions.  I'm looking forward to sharing these with a larger community.

I am also a healer.  I practice my own form of healing which combines Reiki, my own personal form of energy work, bodywork, cleansing and energy analysis.  I am always seeking and learning more about healing.

I have a special interest in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and recovery and treatment of trauma, having been though a fairly severe case of PTSD myself after 9-11.  I'm hoping to work up the courage to share some of my experiences with it and how I managed, though a number of alternative healing approaches and my own meditation and self-inquiry practice, to overcome it.   From my experience it seems very few people understand this condition much less treat it effectively.  There are too few people who can claim to have recovered from PTSD and so I'd like to share some of my experiences and what I did which lead to my recovery in the hopes it will help others who are going through the same thing out there.
